Although Projetex Workstation can connect to only one Projetex Server (i.e. one database) at a time, it is possible to connect to a different server once you log out from current server. To be able to connect to a different server you would need license key for second Projetex, which you attempt to connect to. Normally, when you attempt to connect to a different server, the program will request that you enter a different license key. Projetex Switch utility is used to simplify and quicken the process of switching servers (i.e. connecting to different Projetex Servers from same Projetex Workstation). To use Projetex Switch Utility simply download Projetex Switch Utility using the following link http://www.projetex.com/Projetex_Utilities/ProjetexSwitch.zip Unzip its files to Projetex Workstation setup folder. To map an additional server: - run ProjetexSwitch.exe; - click Servers’ Profile; - click Add button; - enter new server information: Title: Please, enter the name of the server here. It is just a caption and you can choose it to be whatever you want. This name will be shown in the list of servers. Network name/IP: Please, specify server’s network ID (full name of computer, with domain name) or IP-address (e.g., server1.domainname.com or 195.79.113.66) in this field. License Key: Please, open license key used to register this new Projetex and enter Projetex Workstation license key sequence. (Please, make sure, that you are pasting the license key to the Projetex Workstation, not Projetex Server) Once the new server has been added to the list in ProjetexSwitch.exe, you can quickly switch to this server by selecting it and clicking Load Application button.
